Uses

Amorolfine is used in the treatment of fungal nail infections and fungal skin infections.

How it Works

How Amorolfine works Amorolfine is an antifungal medication that prevents fungi from producing ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the fungi stop growing, and their cells break down. Gradually, the infected nail grows out until only healthy nail remains.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Amorolfine include application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness.

Amorolfine is effective in treating fungal nail infections.
Avoid contact with your eyes, ears, nose, or mouth; if contact occurs, rinse with water immediately.
Refrain from using nail varnishes and artificial nails during treatment.
Do not share your nail filer to prevent the spread of infection.
Do not use Amorolfine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Continue using Amorolfine for 3 to 5 days after symptoms have resolved to prevent recurrence of the infection.
