How it Works

How Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid Work Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid is a combination of two medications used to treat eczema and psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid that inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) responsible for making the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic agent that breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. Additionally, it enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.

Common side effects of Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid include burning sensation, irritation, and itching.

Clobetasol + Salicylic Acid is used to treat:

Two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor
