Ipilimumab is used in the treatment of melanoma.

How it Works

Ipilimumab works by activating the immune system against cancer cells. It enables certain white blood cells to multiply, thereby enhancing the body's immune response.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Ipilimumab include nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), upper respiratory tract infection, rash, flu, dermatitis, bronchitis (inflammation of the airways), eczema, swelling of lymph nodes, and oropharyngeal pain.
