Folic Acid, Iron, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B12 are used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies.

How it Works

How Folic Acid, Iron, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B12 Work Folic Acid, Iron, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B12 contain three vitamins and one mineral. Folic acid is essential for the production of red blood cells and helps prevent and treat folate deficiency and anemia. Iron replenishes the body's iron stores and corrects iron-deficiency anemia. Vitamin C neutralizes harmful free radicals and enhances the absorption of iron from the diet. Vitamin B12 is crucial for red blood cell production, nerve function, and DNA synthesis.

Common side effects of Folic Acid, Iron, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B12 include limited data available.

Expert Advice

Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Folic Acid + Iron + Vitamin C + Vitamin B12, as they can hinder the absorption of the medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, such as antibiotics or medications for heart disease or bone disorders.
Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while taking this medicine.
In addition to taking Folic Acid + Iron + Vitamin C + Vitamin B12, maintain a healthy diet, ensure a minimum of 6-7 hours of sleep at night, and work on reducing stress levels.
