Common side effects of Kojic Acid include itching, dry skin, skin burns, skin peeling, and erythema (skin redness).

Kojic Acid aids in lightening visible spots and marks.
It should always be used in conjunction with sun-avoidance measures, such as:

Using sunscreens

Avoid contact with eyes or mouth; if contact occurs, rinse with water immediately.
