How it Works
How Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin work Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin is a combination of two antiepileptic medications: Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin. This combination controls seizures or fits by reducing the abnormal and excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin include nausea, vomiting, vertigo, nystagmus (involuntary eye movement), double vision, sleepiness, anemia (low red blood cell count), peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness in the hands and feet), gingival hypertrophy (gum enlargement), softening of bones, and abnormal hair growth.
