How Revaprazan works Revaprazan is a potassium-competitive acid inhibitor. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Revaprazan include headache, diarrhea, and runny nose.

Expert Advice

Take the medication 30 minutes to an hour before a meal.
You will be regularly monitored with tests for blood clotting parameters, such as prothrombin time.
Seek immediate medical attention if stomach or intestinal irritation persists or worsens.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Should not be administered to patients who are allergic to revaprazan or any of its ingredients.
Should not be given to patients with a bleeding disorder.
