How Tricholine Citrate works Tricholine Citrate is a bile acid binding agent that removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol, resulting in lowered cholesterol levels in the body.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Tricholine Citrate include constipation.

Expert Advice

  • Always take it with food and a full glass of water.
  • It may interfere with the absorption of vitamins such as A, D, and K.
  • Take supplements of these vitamins as recommended by your doctor.
  • It can delay or decrease the absorption of certain medications.
  • Any other medication should be taken 1 hour before or 4 hours after taking Tricholine Citrate.
  • Tricholine Citrate helps lower high blood cholesterol levels.
  • Take it along with regular exercise and a low-fat diet.
  • It may cause constipation; therefore, drink plenty of water and consume more high-fiber foods.
  • Inform your doctor if constipation becomes severe or does not resolve.
