How Ornidazole, Norfloxacin, and Lactobacillus work: Ornidazole, Norfloxacin, and Lactobacillus is a combination of two antibiotics (Ornidazole and Norfloxacin) and a probiotic (Lactobacillus). Ornidazole kills bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging their DNA. Norfloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This combination treats your infection but may also disrupt your digestive system by eliminating healthy gut bacteria. Lactobacillus is included to help restore the balance of healthy bacteria.

Common side effects of Ornidazole, Norfloxacin, and Lactobacillus include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, dizziness, headache, and heartburn.
