Uses

Racecadotril, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus Uses Racecadotril, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus are used in the treatment of diarrhea.

How it Works

How Racecadotril, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus work Racecadotril, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus is a combination of three medicines that reduce symptoms of diarrhea in children. Racecadotril has an anti-secretory effect, reducing the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps decrease fluid loss from the body during diarrhea. Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus are live microorganisms that restore the balance of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, which may be disrupted due to intestinal infections.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Racecadotril, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus include headache, vomiting, dizziness, general discomfort, and hiccups.
