Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide are used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

How it Works

How Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide work Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide is a combination of three medications: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). Together, they work by widening and relaxing blood vessels, which helps lower blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also helps by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide include headache, dizziness, nausea, upper respiratory tract infection, fatigue, urinary tract infection, diarrhea, joint swelling, peripheral edema, nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), and muscle spasm.
