Amlodipine and Lisinopril are used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

How it Works

How Amlodipine and Lisinopril Work Amlodipine and lisinopril effectively lower blood pressure. They work by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly and enabling the heart to pump blood more efficiently.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Amlodipine and Lisinopril include ankle swelling, headache, tiredness, palpitations, increased potassium levels in the blood, sleepiness, cough, taste changes, flushing (a sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), decreased blood pressure, and upset stomach.

  • You have been prescribed Amlodipine + Lisinopril for the treatment of high blood pressure.
  • Lowering blood pressure reduces the chance of future heart attacks and strokes.
  • This medication may cause dizziness; therefore, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
  • Do not take Amlodipine + Lisinopril if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
