Uses

Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide are used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

How it Works

How Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide work Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide is a combination of three medications: Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). Together, they work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also helps relax blood vessels and improve blood flow.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide include ankle swelling, dizziness, nausea, peripheral edema, mood changes, and visual disturbances.
